Websites
Nude Beauty: Business Site on WordPress
Nude Beauty is a business website that I created for the final project for the course Web Design and Publishing. It was created on a self-hosted site on WordPress with some minor CSS changes. The logo for the business was created in Canva. The images of the products were edited in Photoshop. Additionally, I created an ad campaign video that was shot on an iPhone 11 and edited in Adobe Rush.
HTML Site
The site was completed with HTML and CSS. Photography samples are featured on a multimedia page.
This was my original portfolio website and the first experience that I had with an HTML/CSS website. The banner was designed in Canva. The photography featured on the multimedia page was shot with a Canon T7i.
Bootstrap Site
The site was created on Bootstrap. The website has a total of 5 pages including a resources and mission statement page.
“Let’s Get Better Treatment” is a project that I have been writing about since my freshman year of college. It highlights the LGBTQ movement and its struggles. For my third project in Web Design and Publishing, I decided to create a mock site using Bootstrap for the organization that I created. It has a story-map and timeline that were designed for the site.
Wag: App Prototype
The site was created on Bootstrap. An app prototype video was created to show the app’s features.
“Wag” is a project that I created for my Digital Media Innovation Capstone course’s final project. Wag is a mock social media platform for dog owners. The website was created with Bootstrap and the graphics were created on Canva. Information on pricing, special features, and a video demo of the app prototype are all featured on the website.
Wag: Research Project
This is my final research project on Wag, a social media network that I created for my DMI Capstone course. The research project includes a complete market analysis, financial projections, competition analysis and potential solutions.
Mass Shootings in America: Interactive Data Project
I created a line chart that shows the dramatic increase in mass shootings since 1982. The geographic map that I created uses
color to indicate which states have the highest recorded victims and mass shootings. A drop-down helps the user toggle between total victims and total mass shootings.
I created a research project about mass shootings in America with interactive media for my final project for my Coding and Data Skills for Communicators course. I used a public database from Mother Jones to create a pie chart, line graph, and geographic region map that shows the total number of mass shootings and victims that America has experienced since 1982. I used Bootstrap to create the website design, and I used JavaScript to create the interactive data.
Interactive Data Quiz
I created an interactive quiz for my first JavaScript project. The dating quiz asks the user eight multiple-choice questions, after which the quiz is programmed to return one of four different results depending on their answers.
Blog
Let’s Get Better Treatment
This blog was started during my junior year of college in my Fundamentals of Online and Digital Media course. Let’s Get Better Treatment is about LGBTQ issues and inequality. In the blog post I conducted interviews and wrote personal content related to queer problems. The site is meant to serve as a safe space for young queer viewers who do not have support at home to seek advice and help. It has since become a big project for me and something that I incorporate in a lot of my content creation. Once day I would love to start an actual organization that fights for equality.
Analytics Reports and Client Portfolio
During my junior year at Texas State University, I completed a series of analytics reports for a campus organization called The PACE Center, which served as our mock client for the semester. Aside from analyzing their analytics for Twitter and Instagram, I also helped create some content for their social media platforms. Our efforts were to drive up their engagement and give them advice on how to improve their audience reach.

Client Portfolio
The report was complete with their engagement and impression analytics and their followers. The report also included some observations made by me and some suggestions that I include.
Typography and Design
Magazine Spread
This is a PRIDE-inspired magazine that I created with Adobe InDesign for my Media Design course. It is complete with a cover and feature stories that add up to 28 pages of content. I used symmetry, different color schemes, compatible fonts, and bold images to create this dynamic project.
Poster
This was my first typography assignment for my Media Design class. Our task was to blend typography with images to show balance, symmetry, and creativity. The goal was to create something meaningful that showcased our storytelling skills.
Newsletter
This newsletter was created for my media design course. We were tested on design skills such as spacing and fonts. I decided to focus on how many first-generation college students in mass communication studies struggle to pay for college and find it difficult to manage their time wisely to balance work and school.
Leadhub Internship
Working at Leadhub was a great experience for me. I learned so much about SEO writing and marketing that I didn’t know about before. I got the opportunity to work with real-life clients which is the thing I learned most about. Writing for clients and researching for them was extremely informative and challenging. This experience pushed me past my limits and forced me to grow in both my writing and marketing skills. I now feel confident in myself as a digital marketer, which is something I could not say before this experience.

Multimedia Journalism
Essential Workers and Their Response to the Pandemic
For my multimedia journalism final project, we created several different media content to tell one story. I decided to make my story about essential workers and their experiences during the pandemic. I interviewed Texas State Troopers, food delivery drivers, school district staff, and Target employees to see how the pandemic has shaped their lives in and out of the workplace. Below is my video media content and photo media content on the story.
